The EAM mobile app that never waits for a signal.
Nexaform Mobile is an offline-first EAM mobile app for field technicians. It opens instantly from an on-device database, works fully without a connection, and syncs safely with Nexaform EAM, IBM Maximo and other EAMs.

Why many mobile EAM apps fall short
Nexaform Mobile is designed to solve each of these four problems.
Slow to load
EAM data is heavy, and most apps fetch it over the network every time.
Local-first design: screens read from an on-device database, so lists open instantly. The network is only used to sync.
Sync that loses work
Offline edits get overwritten, duplicated or silently dropped.
A real sync engine: delta pulls, an outbox of changes, idempotent writes and an explicit conflict policy.
Hard to use
Desktop EAM screens shrunk onto a phone.
Task-first design for technicians: today’s work first, big targets, checklists, photos and short failure-code lists.
Locked to one EAM
A different app for every system, or none at all.
One mobile app for any EAM. A sync gateway with an adapter per system keeps the app the same everywhere.

One mobile app for any EAM. Only the adapter changes.
The app only ever talks to the Nexaform Sync Gateway. The gateway handles sign-in, sync, conflicts and mapping, with one adapter per EAM, so the same app can front Nexaform EAM, IBM Maximo or another system.

Secure on the device, honest about the data
Technicians see exactly what their EAM permissions allow, nothing more. Their changes are never lost and never applied twice.
Sign in with your identity provider
OIDC with PKCE through the gateway, and sessions that survive going offline.
Protected on the device
Data is held in an encrypted on-device database, with tokens and keys in the device keychain, behind the app’s own sign-in.
Your EAM’s permissions
Every sync runs with the user’s own EAM rights and scope.
iOS and Android
One codebase for iOS and Android phones and tablets, built for accessibility.
Questions about Nexaform Mobile
Does Nexaform Mobile work offline, with no signal?
Yes. After a technician’s assigned work has synced once, everything works offline: viewing work orders, changing status, completing tasks, logging labour, taking photos and recording failure codes. Changes are kept in an outbox and sync when the device is back in range.
What happens if two people change the same work order offline?
Every change carries an operation ID, so it is applied exactly once. When changes conflict, for example a work order that was closed in the EAM while the technician was offline, the conflict policy decides what can merge automatically and anything else goes to the Sync Center’s conflict inbox for a person to resolve.
Does Nexaform Mobile work with IBM Maximo?
Nexaform Mobile is built to front any EAM through a dedicated adapter in its sync gateway, so the app does not change between systems. It syncs with Nexaform EAM today, and Maximo and other EAMs connect through their own adapters. Talk to us about your Maximo version.
Do we need Nexaform EAM to use it?
No. Nexaform Mobile is a separate product. It works with Nexaform EAM out of the box and is designed to work with the EAM you already run.
Which devices are supported?
iOS and Android phones and tablets, from a single codebase.
